Family Systems Coaching
Family Systems Coaching is an outworking of Bowen Family Systems Theory created by Dr Murray Bowen. Nicky has studied this theory with the Family Systems Institute in Sydney, Australia and is now a faculty member helping with the advancement of this theory in the Australian context. She continues to work on her own maturity in her family and other relationship systems through study, observation, coaching and testing the theory in her own life.

Bowen Family Systems Theory, offers additional insight into how individuals and groups function instinctively and often out of awareness. Murray Bowen made the the assertion that "That which is created in a relationship can be fixed in a relationship."

What is Family Systems Coaching?

What is the goal of Family Systems Coaching?
The ultimate goal of this work is to increase the ability to represent yourself, your thinking, feelings and values, while staying meaningfully connected to and interested in important others.
There is proven value in spending time talking with someone outside your relational networks who knows and works with a Family Systems Lens.
This work can lead to profound benefits in relationships, health and well-being (the journey may not be comfortable).
What Motivates Someone to Undertake Family Systems Coaching?
Usually, a relationship challenge leads a person to work on understanding themselves and their family.It could be dissatisfaction in marriage, difficulty in the workplace, cut-off from family relationships, concern about another, or an awareness that you have lost your way.

$100 per hour - Online
$125 per hour - In person - Wahroonga, NSW (room hire included)
I am willing to consider other locations for family systems coaching noting that travel costs may be incurred and site costs are to be absorbed by the coachee.
